The Story
Mahisha Dellinger founded CURLS in 2002 after her own frustrating experience looking for natural hair products that actually worked. A self-taught entrepreneur, she bootstrapped the brand while working full time and eventually scaled it to national retail - long before natural hair went mainstream. Her journey was documented on OWN's entrepreneurship series.
