When you create an account, purchase a membership, or claim a brand listing, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment details are processed securely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
When you browse Beauty Mkt, we automatically collect standard usage data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on site. This data is used solely to improve the platform.
If you submit a brand claim, we collect your name, business role, brand name, website, and Instagram handle for verification purposes.
How We Use Your Information
To process your membership or brand claim payment and send you receipts and account updates.
To verify brand ownership during the claim process, including cross-referencing your Instagram handle against our verification code system.
To send you relevant platform updates, new features, and editorial content. You may unsubscribe at any time.
To improve the Beauty Mkt platform, directory, and product experience. We analyze aggregate usage data: never individual behavior sold to third parties.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, ever.
We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Supabase (database). Each is bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements.

Beauty Mkt uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).
Brand claim records are retained for a minimum of 3 years for verification and dispute resolution purposes.
