Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Beauty Mkt (beautymkt.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Platform Description
Beauty Mkt is a beauty industry platform providing a brand directory, store directory, editorial content, wholesale resources, and business education for beauty professionals.
Beauty Mkt is not a marketplace for direct consumer transactions. Products featured in brand profiles are for informational and discovery purposes only. Purchases are directed to each brand's own website.
Accounts & Membership
To access member-only content, you must create an account and purchase a membership. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Memberships are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) and will auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your membership at any time from your account portal. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
Brand Listings & Claims
Brand profiles listed in the Beauty Mkt directory are created from publicly available information. Beauty Mkt makes no guarantees regarding the completeness or accuracy of unclaimed profiles.
To claim a brand profile, you must pay a one-time listing fee of $49 and complete our ownership verification process. Updates to a claimed profile after the initial claim may be subject to an additional update fee.
By claiming a brand, you represent and warrant that you are the brand owner or have the legal authority to act on behalf of the brand. False claims are grounds for immediate removal and potential legal action.
Beauty Mkt reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove any brand claim at our sole discretion.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Beauty Mkt to engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity.
You may not scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform without written permission.
You may not impersonate another person or entity, or falsely claim ownership of a brand listing.
You may not upload or distribute malicious code, viruses, or any content designed to interfere with platform operations.
Intellectual Property
All content on Beauty Mkt: including editorial copy, design, photography, data compilations, and code: is the property of Beauty Mkt or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Beauty Mkt content without express written permission.
Brand names, logos, and product images remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on Beauty Mkt does not imply endorsement of or affiliation with Beauty Mkt.
Disclaimers
Beauty Mkt is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
Product information, pricing, and availability shown in brand profiles are sourced from publicly available information and may not reflect current accuracy. Always verify directly with the brand.
Beauty Mkt does not provide legal, financial, or investment advice. Educational content is for informational purposes only.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beauty Mkt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these terms.
Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
