KJ Miller and Amanda Johnson met at Harvard Business School and discovered they shared the same frustration: every 'nude' lipstick was built for someone who didn't look like them. They launched Mented in 2017 to solve that problem once and for all - and turned a simple insight into one of the most beloved inclusive makeup brands of their generation.
